Bye Bye Morning Nap...

Sebastian (6 months) used to take his best nap at around 9am every morning (almost 2 hours!!). Suddenly, he's exhausted at 8:30, so I put him down for what has gotten down to only about 20 minutes. Then he's a disaster the rest of the day because he is so tired and refuses to nap. Did this happen to anyone else? What did you do? Should I put him down earlier or later or just hope this phase passes?

  1. He's probably going through the 6-month growth spurt and very tired. Maybe keep putting him down early and then early for the afternoon nap, too. Don't worry, everything is a phase, and they don't usually drop the morning nap until 15 months or so. His great morning nap will come back...until the next phase!
